i have a close friend who just got himself a yamaha warriar and is starting to get on my nerves about his bragging so i am in the need to shut him up by getting a faster quad but what honda should i get to just beat him and have a little more power
ex 250x, 250ex, 300ex or 400ex
(he beats my 200sx in third gear)

400ex would smoke em no problem, a 300ex stock would probably loose barley, but if u get a better sprocket/chain on the 300 u would beat him no doubt. you might be able to beat him off the line and cut in front of him if your better with the clutch. i usually win in a drag race against my friend on a 400ex until i hit 3rd/4th gear becuase i am better with clutch.

The 400ex is the only one of those that will get him Stock vs. Stock. You may be able to get him off the line with a 300ex if he sucked at shifting, but top end he would catch up regardless. However, if you sneak over and shut his gas off right before the race and you get him off the line he probably won't catch up.

If your sole reason for getting a machine, is to beat a loudmouth, then you're lame.

If you're a better rider the 300ex will do. The 400ex will surely beat him.

"If your sole reason for getting a machine, is to beat a loudmouth, then" YOU HAVE *****!

<< If you're a better rider the 300ex will do. >>

If he is talking about a straight line race then evantually the Warrior will catch up. I don't care if the guy on the 300ex is the best rider in the world. Top end has nothing to do with rider skill.

I'm not saying that the Warrior is a better machine, but it IS faster. No doubt.

If he wants to be win, he needs the 400ex.

Ps. However, if there are going
to be corners in this race, any
of the listed quads "COULD" beat
a Warrior.

Right, I said any of the listed quad "COULD" beat a Warrior. That is more dependent on rider skill. I don't even want to get into "well, which quad would win with equal riders" and all of that crap. I'm just saying that the ONLY thing for sure is that the Warrior has more top end. Everything else has variables depending on Rider skill.

The only problem is that you better make sure you have a good wager on the first race, cause they probably won't fall for it again.
