It is good to see you made it out ok. It is exhilarating to crash and not get hurt. Luckily, I have never been really hurt from crashing, and I try not to do it very often. Obviously, with the risks you are taking trying new jumps there is always that chance you could crash.

I guess you learned a lesson in your crash. Now you know you have to go faster to clear that jump. Also, whenever you jump a four stroke leave the throttle on just a little like a fast idle. It will keep the compression from slowing down your rear wheels and forcing your front end down.

that's pretty cool because I rolled my 400ex yesterday too. I was going up a major hill that I had just done about 15 times but the last time I messed up, rolled it down the hill, it hit me cause I was in front of it. It landed right side up hitting a tree branch and I landed upside down dazed and confused. Of course I got a major rush and was shaking and all but about 15 minutes later I went and did it again. And this crash was nothing compared to earlier this year when I broke my back. Luckily only a few months later I was able to start riding again. Lucky me and you.

My last wreck was in March. I was riding at one of our local MX tracks. I was going through a BIG set of rolling whoops. I tried to double them. I cleared the first double, but didn't have enough for the second. My rear tires clipped (i was going about 4th pinned), and sent me and the quad cartwheeling. I landed shoulder first on top of a whoop, and it separated my shoulder and collarbone a quarter inch. You could put your finger between it. It hurt like hell, but was pretty cool. I was only out of riding a little over a month. Also, it taught me something. Ever since that wreck i havent' feard jumping big jumps. (clear 90' tabletop at local racetrack). All in all, it hurt, but i got a rush from it, and it helped my riding.
