Default trailblazer VS reconVS 250ex

I wouldn't waste my time on a Trail Blazer. I can't think of anything they are good for. There almost 70 pounds heavier than a 250ex bottom out way easier than the ex don't handle very well and how could you get a 2 stroke 250 to be that slow? I don't even think they are a good beginner bike unless your into the slightly quick lawn mower ride. I know some people like them and if that's your idea of fun more power to ya I just don't think the fun level is even comparable. I have never been on a recon so I have no opinion there.

WHAT!! pos trailblazer, my neighbor has a 02 recon, it takes him 20 long wastefull minutes to get the thing started, dont forget those crap tires they give you. 250 recon its garbage.
I don't understand that post at all. Lightman02 just has it out for Recons.
I rode my 99 Recon today and with choke pulled up and first hit of the button it starts. Maybe it needs a new spark plug. I am still on my original set of tires with over 375 hours on them. For the money the Recon is an outstanding buy.

how tall are you?I think in these quads all have their excellent qualities so the choice must be personal. I'm fairly small, 5'7"so the recon fits me perfectly. as a new owner of my first quad i have only limited experience but i Really love this machine. it has done everything the dealership claimed and some i've found out on my own. however if you are a 6'6" rider make sure you are comfortable on a small honda!

Sorry for the misundestanding, i have a polaris which is great, so i am going to go with my polaris, and you have a honda so of course you are goin to go with honda. i think just because maybe my neighbor never takes his out, and when he does it takes a while to start and i mean a while, and his tires look pretty worn , and he doesnt take his out much ( 4 times a month) so i guess his honda recon gave me the impression that it isnt so great, i shouldnt have ran my mouth like that. My polaris had no problems so far, and i sure your honda had no problems so far. i am sure there are polaris tb out there that have tons of problems, and im sure there are recons out there with tons of problems. Lets just put it this way at least we have quads, and all quads we have are good.

I have never been brand specific. I try to pick what I need at that point in time. I have nothing against Polaris its that there quads have mostly been all automatic until here recently. I have always wanted to shift.

If you are going to go with one of the hondas go with the 250ex over the recon. The recon's front brakes suck! Mind you it is a good quad but you will be constantly adjusting, cleaning, or simply not having front brakes(they freeze up in the winter). I had a 2001 recon and it is a good quad but if I had the same choice again I would take the 250ex because of the front brakes. You also might want to consider the Suzuki Ozark. More power and more suspenion than the recon and it has front disc brakes.
