Is a DG pipe good and loud. Does it give more horsepower. I'm thinking of putting it on my 250X. Good idea or not?

 

my friend has a dg rcm with k&n and its jetted perfect basically, just had his valves adjusted, and he doesnt fall really far behind but i usually dont totally hitit, but u can tell a HUGE difference in performance and sound, it's alot louder.

 

DGs are usually all bark (sound) and no bite (power) and I would go with something else. But I want to see their new one that they have, you know the one advertised with Timm Farr in Dirtwheels.

 

yea thats what people say to me they are all sound and no performance if you like that then run an open header lol lol jk.

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] any ways dg just plain sucks and if you think there good then your either deff from riding it too much or you ve never riden anything with a good pipe and last butnot least the extreme loudness has gotten to your brain . lol [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I had a DG RCM on my old Lakota. It gave 0 power, and made it really very objectionably loud. I would get something else. TC Racing makes awesome exhaust, and the WB Eseries is good too. I hear pro circuit is making one, it should be awesome as well.

 

Many knowledgable people have told me to remember one thing: DG means Don't Get.

 

pro circuit allready does make one , i will be getting one within a week and i ll keep you posted and tell yall if its any good
