Everyone says that the e-series extends beyond the grab bar.

Is it possible to cut the head pipe down and weld a new mounting bracket for the silencer?

well it depends i know the e series extends farther then my grab bar when i put it on my 400ex but its only on the 400 not on the 300 or any other models and dont waste ur time \cuting and welding just look into the r4

 

my 400ex with a white brother complete system does not hit the ground if i stand it up on end. i have the original 12 discs in my pipe, and it clears the ground (with endcap installed) by about 1.25 inches.
