my friends and i have been working on a table top jump for the past few weeks. today we went up there to check it out and my friend was gonna hit it to show me how good it was. when we got up there we found 3 guys on 2 300ex's and 1 250x hitting our jump! we wouldnt care that they were doing it...but it wasnt even finished being built! we had a tarp on it with shovels underneath that and rocks on top of the tarp. either those guys, or some other ppl took off the tarp and used our jump. the jump now has a huge rut on one side about 5 inches deep, the top of it is completley destroyed. thats not the worst of it either... we think some a$$hole took there truck up it becuase the hole side of the jump is completley caved in. damn people you'd think they would've had enough curdisy to leave it alone when they see a tarp on it. also the tarp was ripped becuase some dumb a$$ drove up it.
were not sure if we're going to rebuild it but if we do were hiding nails in the dirt so if they remove our tarp and decide to hit the jump before its complete they can also buy themselves some new tires.

its on private property, but it wasnt destroyed by the owner of the property. it was done by some other ppl that didnt own the property themselves and decided to ignore the fact that there was a tarp/shovels on top of the jump. we asked the guys if they removed the tarp themselves and they told us they just got there and they saw some people on yamahas(which we saw later in someones driveway) were going off it earlier. the thign that really ticks me off is the guys on the yamahas talked to us last week and we told them that the jump wasnt done and if they could plz stay off it until its complete. they said ok but they didnt stick to their word.

man thats so messed up!
i dont get why people cant just wait. if they see a tarp, and/or shovels by the jump and can clearly tell the jump hasnt been completley built they shouldn't go off it. why cant they just wait a few more days. in our case we would be more then happy to let other people use it, we build them for everyone to use, and also hoping that other people will help build the track. but no they have to go and ruin it, it just isnt right...

I can understand your being a bit worked up about it. Jumps that are dug by hand take a lot of effort. but.....
<< were not sure if we're going to rebuild it but if we do were hiding nails in the dirt so if they remove our tarp and decide to hit the jump before its complete they can also buy themselves some new tires. >>
If I ever ran over nails and found out that you put them there....run forest!!!.
I think talking to the people..or asking them to help finish it would be a better option.

we've tried that, were not affraid of someone trying to kik our asses
we have a lotta ppl behind us if they try anything. were gonna put up a sign too saying please dont go off the jump until it is complete. and if they disregard the sign they deserve to get their tires popped.

Well....If your really working on your own property...then you may have a chance to keep them out. If your on someone elses property..... Just be careful. You would be at fault more than them if you start popping tires...or whatever.
From the sound of your post...It seems that you are trying to build a jump where other people also ride. Get a few guys together...finish the jump and be done with it. You are going to find that without a way of packing the jump down. A day of riding and the jump will be trashed anyways.
I just hate hearing posts about one quad rider who claims that they are going to try to hurt or damage another quad rider. With limited places to ride...It seems that you would fight to avoid violence. ( regardless if you have your posse' standing behind you...It's ignorant talk like that that gives us a bad name.heheh)
It might help to put on some really baggy pants...a couple of gold chains and some rap music. Maybe walk with an undefined limp...and **** your ball cap to one side. It seems that baggy tommy hilfig-whatever is popular. Get out a du-rag and get jiggy wit' it.
hehehe..... Funny...I got all those ideas looking out my office window. If I was to open the window, I could probably get some slang to go along with it.
can you let a brother get a quarter.?
