I've heard it mentioned many times. What is a "fire road"?
Thanks.

It is usually a narrow road in the forest that was cut in so firefighters could get to the scene of a fire, or to allow access to a place where fire fighting helicopters can land for fuel and other services. They are usually very good riding because they aren't well traveled. Some go for miles and miles. The only problem with them is most are also dead ends. No loop trails.
