well the time has come to rebuild my 400ex i chose a 2000 r400 cam and a wiseco 10:1 piston and stock/cometic gaskits i was planning on taking pictures of the rebuild in progress and posing them on sunday i will let you all know how it turns out and also im gonna try high lifters atv motor cool i will let you know how that works as well hopefully it increase my performanc by at least 10% which it should i'll let you know

Why not get a 440 kit?!! They arent that expensive and I would imagine it would be WELL worth the money.

 

The time has come to rebuild my 400ex......your full of it........thats a HONDA 4 STROKE motor.......you shouldn't hafta tear into that thing for 10yrs......

This brings up a good point. All of you 440 guys out there, you selling your like new origional parts?

 

i am selling my stock piston, cam and as soon as i put on my elka susp. this week im selling my stock shocks i also got stock header silencer and some other stuff laying around

 

My intake valves were shot after a year but everything else looked like new
