Hey I found a raptor motor with electricals and everything to make it run, and a 250r frame with everything i need to roll and then some, would it be hard to make this work? other than motor mounts? Could I use the 250r radiator? or the raptor one? or would it even matter?

sounds cool, i would use the raptor radiator since it was designed to efficiently keep the 660 cool. I really dont know of anything that would make this swap impossible. Some custom fabrication and youll be in. One main problem will be an exhaust for it. That might be a bit expensive.

Measure the motor, or have someone that has a Raptor measure it for you and do the same for the frame. It's possible that it would be too tall but, that's just specualating. I would be willing to post what the Rapot motor dimensions are for you tomorrow.

Let me know.

I am not sure how tall the 660 is. But if it similar to the 400ex motor then it should fit. You might have to actually cut the frame to get the motor in and then reweld it. Sounds crazy but I know people who have had to do that to do swaps in quads.

Riceburnin's right, you MIGHT have to cut a little on the frame. If you do, I recommend you cut it at a previous weld spot. Then, TIG weld it, then go over it with a 7013 stick. the tig will make a pretty weld, then the 7013 will make a stronger cap. You might even go BACK over the 7013 with another tig weld, to make it look good! Also, If you do this, I would get the frame powdercoated.. especailly in that sopt! There's a guy that rides with us down here, that handbuilt his own A-Arms... he did a really good job. If you want, go to http://www.quadforce.com, and email him. Ask him what kind of welds he made, and what he used. Afterall, you don't want your frame to break coming off a big jump, or whatever it may be

yeah give me those dementions, I dont really feel like measuring mine because it willtake me a while to find my measuring tape, welding is no problem my dad is a professional welder, I mean he does it all the time, has degees and stuff, he said he can do the exhaust too.
