My "86 250r does not have the radiator overflow mounted under the rear plastics. Does anyone know why that would be removed?

Some people just don't like them. I prefer to keep mine, but know people that refuse to have them. I keep mine as I ride in very hot conditions sometimes and rather than have coolant puke onto the ground, I'd rather keep it in the overflow.

So it won't hurt the unit at all, but I will not have an overflow? I do alot of my riding in Florence, OR. and I do tend to run a little hot sometimes. This bike has not been there yet so maybe for safety sake I should put it back on. Thanks for the info.
