works awesome, not sure what the going price will be but, if your packing a 440 or modified, its definitely a killer mod! the best way for me to describe it is like this:
wheelie on first gear (no need to yank the bars!), just nail the throttle, wheels up!
stock advance is lazy as hell, full timing is in at 4200 rpm @27° stock, with the msd it will hit 29°@2000rpm the jump in power is traumatic, at least here in my 4000ft plus elevation it sure is. Its has a hi-speed retard, holeshot revlimiter, and max speed rev limiter up to 10,250 rpm. bottom line if you want the max out of your motor, check it out!

keep ya all posted,

I use MSD on my street strip truck and find them to be a quality item.

But I find your wheelie method perplexing, I do not need to yank on my bars to make mine wheelie. Just add throttle, now in top gear and on it a little I need to help some but not 1-4.

Great! I've been waiting for MSD to make an aftermarket CDI for the 400EX. Are they available now? I checked the MSD web site but they link to another site for the motorcycle/small engines -and that site won't open for me.

Hey 2k400ex, I clicked on that link below your signature. I was browsing around in there and I noticed that 3D Model of a quad. Did you do that or what? If you did, what CAD program did you use?

Let me know...

I called MSD and talked to a guy there who said that the units will probably be available in two months and go for around $320.
