I have been looking into buying a four wheeler for some time now. I love honda stuff and I am planning on buying a 400ex. But, should i wait till honda comes out with a bigger sport quad to compete with the raptor and other high powered sport quads. Or is honda prolly not even goin to do that. I just want to know if I should wait or get the 400 ex and mod it up...Please help me out guys....By the way..i know this is an overused topic i guess but i cant seem to find a straight answer...

If it was me I would wait. I know you are set on buying Honda but you should take a good look at all the new machines that are supposedly coming out. I think Honda will also come out with something new, probably at least a 650ex but maybe an all new 450ex. If you buy now you will be getting a real nice bike, but you may be disappointed in a year if Honda improves it like the mags seem to think they will.

I've heard rumors that February they will come out with the new quad IF they come out with a new quad.

Go ahead and buy the 400 EX. I Just bought a 2002 400 EX and I don't regret it. I thought about waiting too but the way I looked at it was that if I sit around waiting for the latest technology I'll be sitting around for the rest of my life. Buy the four wheeler now and enjoy it.

Why not buy a used bike and learn to ride while you wait for a new model. If you keep a used quad for a year or two you won't even loose any money.

Next May???? Geez. Wait until next April before even thinking about a quad. There will be new stuff out there. If I was buying today I would ditch my full race 440EX for a Cannondale in a second.

About everyone makes 440 kits! Curtis Sparks, CT, LRD, Trinity, Quad Central, Duncan Racing, FST, Powroll, GT Thunder, etc.
Your choice.
