can the lakota sport accelerate a lot faster than the 250ex because i heard that from sum1 who said they have tried both? whats the truth?

 

no way! a 250EX will out accelerate a lakota easily. a lakota is a big heavy machine with a slow revving motor. the 250 will smoke the lakota.

 

listen juggalo a lakota sport hands down crushes the 250 ex in acceleration and top speed. I have a lakota sport and my friend a 250 ex i smoke him sorry get your facts straight before speaking and confusing people.

 

I disagree. The lakota is not a lot heavier than the 250ex. The lakota weighs in at 440 lbs. And it has a bigger motor, and is chain driven not shaft. all these factors point towards the Lakota being faster to me. Not saying that it IS faster, but seems to me that it would be.

 

I have heard that the 250EX accelerates faster but on top end the Lakota beats it. But I think most of it depends on the rider.

 

well i haven't ridden a 250EX but i have ridden a lakota sport (a good friend of mine has one) and i can say its one of the slowest revving quads i've ever ridden and it didn't accelertae very fast either.. 250EX must be sloooow. and if a mojave weighs more than raptor and the lakota is based on a mojave and its not much heavier than a 250 then i say they both need to go on a diet. so i dunno i would think that a 250EX would take a lakota by a lot in acceleration.

 

listen juggalo you must be a bad rider the lakota accelerates pretty decent better than a 250 ex so i suggest you quit giving advice until anyone puts them side by side like i have dont say you might think but you dont know.

 

I have a Recon from which the 250EX is based its more of a sport machine than the Lakota. 250ex slow, I don't think slow. That will depend on the riders weight on how quick each machine will be. A stock 250 ex is going to be right behind a 300 ex if the riders skill is equal. The lakota weighs about 90 pounds more than the 250ex. You will be much,much happier with the red wing on your side.

Heywhy dont you listen i have the shootout between the lakota sport and 250ex they dont drag them and i would crush you on a 250ex i mean i could beat you at mx harecrambles x country and anything else your the loser you suck at riding not me i got first in my mx heat.
