well this is what ive considered on this bike, if it has all of this stuff on it and has only been ridden for 40 hours this bike is worth well over 6000$ if u think about tripple rates with rezzies can run about 1200 to 1500 dependin on where u get them and the plastic, beadlocks a arms swing arm axle pipe cromoly tierods and the rest of it is worth a hole lot too so for 5000 dollars shipped and everything that is one h*ll of a deal in my opinion[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I asked him about the hours, he said he ditn know, never told me 40. I talked to the guy on the phone, seems pretty good guy. He raced in texas whatever last year and took 2nd on his banshee in points. Amature or somethin like that. Bought the 400 for a new machine to race, and now he's not goign to race anymore. The pictures look good.

Maybe it has around 40 hours on it. He put the stuff on in FEB and its sat there for ALONG time he said. He whiped the dust off it today when he was giong to start it.

 

OK. Here is something to think about. If this bike is such a good deal, then why didn't he sell it already? To someone local? To someone who actually looked at the machine, and realized what a steal it was?

It is a huge risk to buy something like a quad that is used without getting to check it all out, in person, and know what to look for. You are going on this guys word, and as nice as he sounds, you don't really know him. I am always nice when I sell things, too. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Seriously, if it was such a deal, it would have been gone by now. My advice is...don't do it. Get a 400 you can personally check out.

He said that noone around there realizes how much he's stuck into the quad and most people want a utilty to haul deer around or something with 4x4. No racers around his area i guess. Wich i can belive, because the same goes for here..
