What did everyone here pay for their 400EX's new from the dealer? I'm hoping to pickup a leftover 2001 from a local dealer in the next week or so. I have 3 dealers within a short distance from me so hopefully I can play them against each other a little. I'm hoping for at least $5200...is that reasonable?

There is a dealer near Chicago selling them for $4695.00! If you are an out of state buyer he kicks in $50 for gas. They have buddy deals I don't know exactly what they are but they run an add with a monthly payment for two quads and they throw in a trailer. Thursday the new trader will be out I can get you the number if you would like to give them a call. The add says it's about a half an hour from the Indiana border.

 

Make sure that's an out the door price. That seems REALLY low. I paid $5500 out the door for mine back in March, brand new, 2001.

where did you get your quad at?? I got mine up in Phoenix $5300 for mine.

I got mine right when the '01's came out (I have the 9th yellow one made), for $5200OTD from Abernathy's Cycle....Also check lake hill motors. They usually have great prices

I paid $5160 out the door in Lancaster, Ohio (close to Columbus).

 

When I was looking in May for a new ATV my local honda shop Quoted 5,200.00 for 400ex and that was not his final answer. At 4,695.00 in Chicago does that dealer accept food stamps? His poor salesman is going to need them before long. Chet

 

i got my 2001 400ex last august. i paid $5,800 out the door. i could not find any one else cheaper. but i guess everyone was on a list for a yellow one. i got the first yellow one from the dealer i went too. i live near st. louis illinois.
