well its finally happening. i really wanted a 2002 raptor but my dad thinks that we'd be "decieving" the insurance company if we did that. oh well. looks like instead i'll be getting a shiny new 2002 400EX (yellow of course). i sure woulda liked to have that raptor though. any1 got a nice 250R they wanna trade for a brand new 400EX?

my dad doesn't think a raptor is compareable in performance to our LT. i try to explain to him that its not very far away performance wise but he refuses to listen.

Yellow 400EX thats the ticket. Just be thankful that you will be able to ride the best handling stock atv there is. Chet

Do you really think its the best stock suspension out there? I find it hard to believe that the Cannondale doesnt ride better once dialed in.

Anyways, I just called my insurance company the other day (my wife did actually) and they told us they only offered liability. I dont know if they offer theft, hopefully they do. If not, who are you guys insured by that does of theft protection for your quad?

well my insurance doesn't cover qauds either. we said that we mainted the property with it (which is kind of true) and so they decided to cover it. at first they were just gonna write a check for 2400 dollars but they said my dad had this thing on his policy called peplacement. so thats why their gonna buy me a whole new quad.

Farmers has a whole dept. for insuring ATV's. All of our quads are insured against liability, theft, and collision, as well as our trailer. Pretty decent rates, too.

Yeah, you are going to LOVE your 400! I have the chance to ride our Raptor or our 400, and I usually pick the 400. Definately a fun bike! Good luck, and congrats!!
