I know this may be a stupid question...but we all know that honda prolly will come out with a new quad. I think im getting a 400ex because of the price and I know i will not beable to afford the new quad. My question is...do u think honda will eventually discontinue the 400ex. This idea just popped into my head and i was just wondering what other people thought.....

Evdoggg,
I don't think they will stop making the 400EX series for quite awhile. The frame and suspension is just spot right on for a large group or buying public. I could see them upgrading the motor though. 440EX with liquid cooling and for me if it would have had reverse I would be riding 400ex now instead of Raptor. Just look at how long the 300Ex has been around,1993 and before that it was 250X. Chet

Actually honda does not plan on coming out with a new model high performance quad for 2003. My uncle is a chief engineer for honda motor corp. Next year will be pretty much the same thing as far as the sport quads go.

I'm sure Honda will ad the technologically advanced "bold new graphics", as usual.

there HAS to be somthing for 2003, look at all the new big bore sport qauds and 4x4's. If honda wants it's share of the marketplace they will have to come up with a new big bore 4x4 and sport quad. or they just dont care no more (wich is stupid sence they do so good)

btw, if i had to by a new atv it WOULD NOT be another honda. i would get a kodiak or sportsman HO. no that honda makes junk, i can get more for less. so honda NEEDS TO GET MOVING!!!
