400ex sprokets

What comes on the 400ex from the factory as far as sprocket sizes go and in the rear,and should I on it some people say that you want to go larger in the front that it still accelerates good and it pulls harder this way others say go smaller in the front for acceleration I normally that if want more acceleration you go smaller in the front or larger in the rear. You guys that are running the smaller front sprocket how much top end are you losing,and those running the larger front how much are you gaining. Thanks for the input

i am running 14-39 on my ex and it accelerates very fast and my top end loss was minimal actually with my pipe it did not really make a diff at all and u dont have to spend 80 on sprockets i got mine for like 30 for the 2 from rocky mountain and they are still good after 4 monthes of abuse
