I was wondering if anyone ever put those little fog lights on there 250 R . If so how did they work ? Or will they work I would like to do it to my 86 R but I don’t know if I can. Thanks for the info.

 

I put a set of dual 55w 4" lights on mine but couldn't get them to both work at the same time. I tried them in series, parallel, and also as recommended on the packaging using the supplied mysterious regulator? box but no luck (might not be 12v like a truck but I was told there is 100W). after that I had one wired to the high position and the other on low switch, each light aimed in its respective position which worked good but not that much light, probably less than stock, but looked cooler than the goofy 86 light.

now I have those on my truck, I bought the 89 front hood, and a pretty standard (and cheap) dual beam 100W halogen headlight with a bracket to mount inside and it works great, tons of light.
