Man, I sure am glad that I live in the country b/c I dont have to worry about this problem. My nearest neighbors is like 1/4 a mile up the road. One time I was riding up by their house on my 400EX, I dont mean just riding up and down the road, I mean just going by there then back, anyway, they called the cops and I just happen to drive by in my car and I saw them sitting there waiting for me. After a while they left. Later that night I fixed that. See at the end of their driveway they have something like a street light on a post that has a big round fansy glass thing around the light, I busted that out and glass was laying all over their driveway, and earlier that day I went fishing and I caught about 3 pretty good size bass and I cut open their stomach and let them dry out and start stinking all day. Then that night when I broke out their light I put those 3 stinking fish right in their driveway! So I showed them to not mess with me, b/c I get good payback! And they couldn't get the cops on me b/c nobody saw me and they have no evidence that I did it. Here about a month ago they moved. And when they were moving like carrying stuff out to the moving truck, I spun doughnuts in their yard and throwed dirt every where all over their porch and I yelled "SUCKERRRRR"! I sure am glad they moved, but i'll miss picking on them...lol!

Im really not a violent person, its just that when people make me mad, its payback time!!! (lol, if they were not going to move soon, I was going to flated their tires, lol)[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Not to be rude or anything but doing stupid stuff like that gives our sport a bad name. Just politley talk with the people and check to see if what you are doing is legal. But if that don't work and they call the cops a second time then it is time for payback, just not destruction of their property and deadfish in their yard.

That is what I was trying to say except in more polite wording. (gotta love those anger managemaent classes)

 

Jeffman- they could have also shot you buried your body and sank your ATV in the nearest river- intentional vandalism in not high on my list likes anyway. Ever wonder about all those missing people? I hear nothing I see nothing I know nothing-just like Colonel Klink on avoiding the eatern front. &lt;- AKA typical country responce.

I think ignorant is the key word here.

From the looks of your stories (i.e. getting chased by the cops) you are doing something that you SHOULDN'T be doing. I, as well as the other guys on here said to stay calm, and don't do anything stupid if somebody is harrassing you considering you are not doing anything you aren't supposed to be doing. If you are doing something (like tresspassing or such) then you deserve to be reported.

You're wrong....It's not the people that are getting hurt that is the problem. It is the arrogant and irresponsible riders that think that they can just (as you said) &quot;ride where they want, when they want&quot;.

I agree 100% that if you are doing the right thing and somebody reports you, you can &quot;rub it in&quot; a little bit by continueing to do it, or even doing it even more. Although it might not be nice, the people that complain all of the time (for no reason) are just plain annoying. However, they do not need to be disrespected or abused in any other way (other than mentally [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] ).

Anyway, that's just my thoughts.

One time I heard someone doing doughnuts at the beginning of my drive. By the time I got on my recon and out to the end of the drive he was gone. I listened to the sound of where the ATV was going. I found out who it was and went to their front door. I asked the lady who answered if it was OK to do doughnuts in their drive. She looked at me like what the heck are you some sort of son of a blank. I said that is just what your son did to me. I never had anymore problems with that kid and did not hear that Yamaha for a long time. Since me and my son are pretty good riders if anyone comes on our property we go out after them and Quickly take care of the problem. If someone like jeffman would do that to us we would catch him and impound his ATV and while were going after him the law would be called. Us Good o boys around here wouldn't put up the likes of the Jeffmans of the world. Running from the law around here is unheard of unless your plan goofy. Another thing they should make it a law that you have to take an IQ test before you can purchase an ATV that way the jeffmans would be weeded out. who cares if its illegal. i ride ride on the road all i want and when i see a cop..i run down a trail then they cant catch me. we ride down dirt roads wide open..who cares if they get mad, its not their land. and im sick of all this&quot;givng the sport a bad name crap&quot; who cares? just ride and have fun..i think thats what its all about..not worrying about what other people think. and by the way..im 16
