Erractic Idle can be one of many things.Check this out first,Make sure the black rubber intake boot between the carb and intake is not sucking air.[leaking]Spray some carb spray on this boot with the engine idling.If the rpms increase,replace the rubber boot.Im betting this is probably your problem.Good Luck------BILL

 

My little sister has a little 185S and it runs fine and all but it has trouble idling. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I've adjusted the carb once, but then sometimes it would rev up real high and go on it's own. Has anyone had this kind of problem before?
