Anyone ridden an 86' 350X and an 85' back to back?
(86 has a 14 tooth, 85 has a 13 tooth) The 6 speed in the X is geared so closely.
I feel that the 14 would yield better acceleration. The stock gearing revvs out SOO
quickly, the bike is VERY strong, but hardly moving!! I think it has more than enough power to pull and benefit from a 14 tooth (like the 86).

Any experience, or comments?

Both years come stock with a 13 tooth front sprocket. A 14 is the first mod that should be done on an X.
