I am buying a new cam for my 300ex. My dealer gave me two different setups.

1) White bros. Cam-125$
Valve springs-100$
top end gasket-45$

total-570


2)White bros carb (bigger)
white bros cam- 125$
Valves-100
springs-100$
Top end gasket- 45$

total-695

My dealer said I will notice very little power gain with #1. But I will notice an enormous power gain with #2. So my question is are these good prices and how much I will notice with each of these setups. Also is there anything else I would need to have a good power gain while installing a cam.

 

45$ for gaskets!!!!! Order some from dennis kirk man way cheaper.
