hondatrx300- Hi, I am also from Ontario, if your looking for an ATV, the best places are the "Boat Bike & RV TRADER"(www.trader.ca), and the TRI-AD NEWS, both found at your local Variety store.

Good Luck with finding one, I am also looking for a newer ATV

TRX300:
No I dont' think you are babbling, I just thought some of your questions might have been unclear or i took them the wrong way. I am not sure if the the 90 to 95 models are exactly the same. there might have been some improvements in things such as suspension or maybe other minor things. You know how Honda is. When they have a model out they don't make durastic changes, but might make some along the way (like plastic). As for an 87... if I am correct, the trx 300 was not made until later. Instead the trx 350 is what was made that year and i am pretty sure to 89. A friend of mine has a 87 trx 350 4x4. Although you don't want a 4x4, i will still say that he LOVES his machine. It is spotless and runs like new. If your budget is 2500 to 3000, first of all you are lucky seeing as when i was first looking for a used quad all I had was 1000 (I never did get one with that much )and second of all you should have NO problem getting an older trx 300. And like ATV_man said: go to www.canadatrader.com and do a search for ontario and see what you can find.

yes i do have msn.. if that is msn messenger you are reffering to.

do you really have a 02 raptor????

good luck

I think hondatrx300 is the first person around here to have a 02 Raptor. I was hoping he could give us some details on his new machine. Its probably just sitting in his garage collecting dust while he looks for a older trx300. Chet

Chet: no, actually I was out on a ride this morning. at, around, as soon as i got up! Im still excited to wake up to it, sitting in my garage, collecting dust... this thing is explosive and is better for woods riding because of its heavey flywheel weight, you can go pretty slow around 2mph but then it clonks out. its very stylish too, very ... shnazzy. my dad clocked it in our car beside me on our dirt road at 75mph, i was very scared after that because iv never gone 75mph on anything but a car. my eyes were watering too. my dad bought it from the dealership about ... a week ago, not long! hes just getting used to it. he says its like a road bike with a super charged engine and 4 wheels i thought we were stupid until we found the reverse lever! my dad said to me "i think theres supposed to be a reverse" but we couldnt find where since yesterday. the dealer said there was a **** on the dash that you turn and click down. we were amazed we couldnt find this ourselves. there were two colors to choose from, and my dad got the white/black one. im still learning to master its speed and accelleration for I can now change gears(only 1st to 2nd) while my front is in the air catwalking. Iv rode a 01 raptor and The only thing thats different is the gear ratios, and some people say the reverse button. I dont think it is though. no dramatical differences like plastic, or atleast i didnt think so. they look the exact same. so far iv raced all my neighbours in drags, they haveolaris sportsman 500 h.o., arctic cat 400 4x4, kawasaki prarie 300 2x4, honda3004trax 2x4, honda3004trax 4x4, yz80, yz125, suzukki rm 125, a v-4 car, xr 80, suzuki rm250(this was the one i was amazed by), blaster, banshee, 01 raptor, 400ex and i plan to meet a ds650 if anybody plans to buy one. iv lost to:01 raptor, 400ex on a farmers trail, banshee once because of false start, v-4 car because i topped out and the car still picked up speed, suzuki rm250 walked away from me on the trail and i ate his dust. but remember i have beaten all of them in drags and trails except the 400ex and the suzuki rm250 and the yamaha yz125. i dont have many neighbours, because they all live half a mile away. while my dads out riding i have to stick with my kx100. that thing has ***** for a 13 y/o like me(the raptor too!!!). so far weve encountered one problem! a flat tire! and i want a trx300 because theyre "bulletproof", and "indestructable" and i live around farms. how many times have you been to a friends farm and you jsut end up doing WORK with a 3-wheeler? i still want one because itll suit my camping and hunting needs.

If you had a 02 Raptor you wouldn't have to tell me to go to the Yamaha web site. There is two obvious differences from the 01 raptors shocks. What are they? Chet

I need to come and talk to the farmers in your area. WOW, 320 bushels per acre. There is a lot of rich farmers in caistor centre, Ontario. Thats almost 3 times the average per acre. Chet
