Supertrap pipe question.
#1
I have a supertrap on my 350X. It is way loud.
I dont have the stock exhaust for the bike, so I was thinking of an alternative.
Silencer padding? The supertrap already has quite a few disks, so I dont really want to add anymore.
Can I fill it with SOME sil. padding? will this hurt HP? I think it WILL quiet it a bit though. What do you people think?

UM yea I think you have the disc concept all wrong! more discs = LOUD less discs = QUIET . Also I put some silencer PACKING in my supertrapp and it was all gone in a matter of hours and didnt do much when it was in there.

Yes, I guess you are right...
more disks is more area for exhaust to escape, and more noise. duh
(but also more power?)
ok cool, ill remove some disks and see how that works.
Thanks!!

heres the DL , 6-12 discs for trail riding , the more discs the better top-end power the less discs better low-end running less then 6 discs has a negative effect on power. If you have like 18 on there then it's gonna be REAL loud and and have good top-end but poor low-end. also for racing run NO discs just leave take out everything and leave it out for racing. Good luck , I hope I have helped. Zeebo
