PEP shock question(s)
#1
Hey i have some pep fronts on my 440ex. They are the 750.00$ version, whatever version that is. I have some questions about em' (bought them with the quad, no directions).
1. Is the adjustment for compression or rebound (black ****)
2. Where should we start and what is the range of the adjustment.
3. What spring rate is recccomended for somone that weighs 210lbs
thanks

the black **** i am sure is the compresssion adjustment. as far as where you should start, just start where its at, if you quad bottoms, then add some more, if it doesnt, then decrease it a little, go until it bottoms on the biggest jump you plan to encounter then get it to JUST not bottom, that way you are using your entire suspension up, and not having it stiffer than needed for a softer ride when not jumping. if it bottoms occassionally its still ok.
as far as weight springs, PEP should have done them for your weight so you shouldnt have to worry about that too much.
