no i dont have engine trouble. im looking to buy a trx300, iv posted many things on this board to figure out things about it. how much top speed/hp does it have? towing capasity? this is 2x4 by the way. how wide is it? how many people have you ever pulled on it? is it a good quad? should i get something else? i ride trails. and do work. im 13, is this too big/small? yeah iv ridden my neighbours 5 times. i LOOOOVVEEDDD it. i want one now, simply because its not too small and not too big for me. are theyre any mods i can put on it so itll have more hp and speed? is this a reliable quad? should i get something else? whats your opinion? the turning radius is 8.2 ft., is this good? does it handle well? is it too heavey? how heavey is it? have you ever had a problem with it? are they small? are they big? 45' is pretty big i think, bigger than a bigbear which is '43. how are they on trails? are the lights bright? are the gears close? whats it like driving it? is it fast? how fast does it accellerate? would it have enough power for me? 13 5'7 170lbs. does it roll easy? is it loud/quieter? how much weight can 1st gear pull? how fast does each gear go? are the lights okay? tell me everything!!!!!! i want one, and im getting one. but before i buy i gota see what its like.

would this be a 300ex or a fourtrax 300 2x4? if you give me some more info i can help. you could handle eather one , but the 300ex has a manual clutch so when shifting you have to pull in a lever thats on the other side of the bars from the trottle. you let off the gas pull in the clutch lever shift up (or down if your in neutral)and simutaniously (or whatever) let out the clutch and give it gas. If you can handle that you can handle the 300ex. The shift paterns on sport quads with manual clutchs have this shift patern : 1-N-2-3-4-5 then six if its a six speed. so this shift pattern requires that (scince you have to start your bike in neutral) That you have to shift down in to first the up to 2 then 3 then 4 and so on. ya got that? k. if you still want a sport quad but dont want to mess with the clutch go with the 250ex. or if you were looking at the fourtrax 300 2x4 utility qaud (has racks) then you could easily handle that. Tell me which quad you were looking at and ill give you more info. you seem like a bigginer so im givin ya the basics.

click the link to see the 300ex :

if its not that then you talking about the other one , but honda discontiued it last year. so you would have to buy a used one.

Holy Tilito that's alot of Questions. You say you have driven your neighbours 5 times, and you LOOOOVVEEDDD it and that you are going to buy one. Sounds to me like you've already made up your mind. Why not talk to your neighbour. He could probably answer alot of those questions for ya.

One word INDESTRUCTABLE. These things are time proven the best of the best. They handle great, they tow as much as you can pull. As for reliability if you change the oil and clean the airfilter and give them a new plug every so often (just to be on the safe side) they will never leave you stranded anywhere. Top speed is somewhere around 50mph I don't know for sure. They have lots and lots of torque. They are like the ford straight 6's, you can run them into the ground and they will still keep going.

indestructable huh? wow. too bad my dad will never buy me one! i hope he will though. it took me 5 long years of begging, and he got me a sh*ty dirtbike. a ke100. im selling that for 2000 though, and im looking hard to find a real cheap trx300... im not sure what ford straight 6's are but im guessing theyre good? how much horsepower EXACTLY do they have? and 50mph doesnt sound right. 58 does.

Sorry , you gave me the impression that you had no idea what you were talking about. so yeah you could definatly handle it. my cousin has a kx100 they have ***** dude! Yeah those 300s are bomb proof , you souldnt be hauling people with it but i think weve fit four people a tent and sleeping bags 4 eight people (not a safe ride!) so it can hual quite a bit. im guessing it does 40-45 on top speed but i really dont know. its powerful. its a really nice machine start looking foe one in the paper.
