I have a 2001 300ex and I want someone to tell me where the idle screw is located on the carb (just want to make sure) Also does the carb have to be taken off to get to it?!? pleaz reply

Its on the left side of the carb, towards the front of the bowl, all you need to get at it is a long flat head screw driver.

 

its the big fat one on the bottom with a flex arm.
