I rode my blaster for a year before I went to a twist throttle. As someone above said "When it takes off they will move backward and give it more gas". After a bit they will get used to it. I absolutly love mine and would never go back a thumb.

 

i dont know about you but i can go off jumps better with a thumb trotle, it is easyer to get that extra boost launching off the jump!
