I have 2 400Ex's. One is mine , one the wife's. Mine has a full LRD exhaust on it. After about 6 months the LRD slip on rusted through just past the header where the pipe is made from steel. LRD said this is normal and for an additional $250.00 I got a new tail section. (lousy warranty). My wife's 400 has an FMF power core 4 squared on it. That slip on is 9 months old. It just rusted through at the exact same place as the LRD, just past the head pipe. FMF says they don't warranty their pipes either but will look at it any way. Has anyone else had this problem? Am I doing something wrong? These pipes both rusted all the way around the interior and cracked just like an egg. Neither has ever been wrecked. Thanks for any help.
