300EX Rumors

I was at the dealer today. I always ask around about the 450/650EX thing, but they said Honda is in a silent mode about that. One thing they did say though, is they are expecting them to drop the 300. They have a 250 and a 400, so the 300 doesn't really have a niche anymore (I'm not sure what they mean, the dealers can sell every one they get in!). I don't really agree. For small adults and large kids who want a REAL clutch, this is their only choice.

i think that the 300 will be around for a while. if your too small to handle a bigger machine or your a beginner but you want a manual clutch the 300's your machine. or if you don't have a lot of dough to spend and u want a nice sport quad with a manual clutch its the 300EX. well i guess you could buy a blaster too but if honda drops the 300 then they will lose lots of sales to yamaha.

I doubt honda will ever drop the 300ex. EVERYONE loves the 300. The majority of the people around here ride a 300ex. For one, people want a fast sporty quad, and the 300ex provides the power they need. The 400ex isn't what some people are looking for, so they get the 300ex instead. Plus, the 250ex didn't pick up where the 300ex left off, so the 300ex is still a really good quad. If the 250ex were better than the 300ex, yea I can see them dropping it. But nah, not now. The 300ex is one of the best selling quad according to the local dealer, and I'm sure its the same everywhere else!
