I'm talking about my girlfriend. When she rides my 300EX she has problems grabbing the clutch lever. Her hands are too small. Is there a lever I could buy that is closer to the handlebars? Is there a way I could modify the stock lever to fit her? She has trouble riding it and I feel it is becoming dangerous for her. Any suggestions?

There are adjustable aftermarket perches and levers that let you adjust how far out the lever rests from the handlebar. She will have to squeeze the lever all the way to the bar though to disengage the clutch. Checkout the latest ATVSport. They have an article comparing various levers, etc.

Didn't you know any guy that rides an atv is supposed to have a girlfriend or wife that is bigger than he is and weighs more than his quad.

You just need a bigger girlfriend.

I'm joking of course. Hope you find what you need.

I run Applied Racings (for a CR250R) adjust-on-the-fly clutch perch and lever. Its huge and beefy, but very adjustable. Maybe that would work for you. Another good one is FMFs AOF Lever. It works aweseome as well.

If none of that stuff you could always sale it and get a 250 EX which has no clutch. Then you will just eliminate the clutch problem all together. Im sure she wont notice the power difference.

How does the 250EX match up w/ other things?? Such as a blaster (I'm just saying that b/c their around the same size except for the obvious 2stroke and 4stroke difference)

You can always try heating up the stock lever and bending it back a little so it better fit's her hand. OR you can get a hand transplant !!!
