I have decided to get a 400 ex and i dont like the graphics of the 02's (not a big deal) but the 01's are the same and hopefully cheaper. I am wondering what the going prices are on new 01's i live in ohio. I was orignally thinking about getting a Raptor but my friend has had numerous problems with his and my opinion is you can always trust a honda. also.....just got a new 02 426f my 00 426 is for sale it is in immaculate condition wow what a bike

Last I checked, the selling price on a 400EX is $5500. You could probably get one for 500-800 cheaper than that tho because it's the end of the model year.

You might be able to snag a raptor for fairly cheap too for the same reason (but not as cheap as the 400EX). I personally haven't had any problems with the raptor either. It's been a reliable bike.

Paid $5,100 out the door in West Virginia (no sales tax, not registered, and included a $300 rebate from Honda). Got it back in March. Bought it from Ridersville Honda in Berkeley Springs, WV 25411 (304) 258-2282. Not sure how far they are for you but it was definitely worth the 1.5 hour drive each way for me.

 

Call Competition Accesories. My best friends Dad just got a brand new 2001 Red 400ex for $4700 out the door last week!!!! I don't know their number, but they are located in Springfield, Ohio near Dayton. If I were you, I would see if I can jump on something like that. Who cares about the 02's graphics. The machines are all the same.
