Hey guys got a new one for you.

Don't ask me how I got this piece of information but it originates from Honda staff.
Apparently Honda is working on something called Halftrax.
Does anybody have a clue what this might be?
Could it be that they are working on something with a rear diff?
Maybe finally something with on road capabilities?

As the title reads Half tracks, like the WW II truck, wheels in front and a dual track drive in back. Its a good Idea, alot of aftermarket companies produced these for the old Ford 8N tractors of the 40's and 50's, IT WILL NEVER GET STUCK.

 

First and formost don't say anything will ever not get stuck. We can prove that wrong (military). Second a half track now a days is a non agressive personell transport. No big tracks, just small half size ones, no weapons except the m-60's and all the small guns on board, no front wheels!

 

I read that word as this:
2004 Honda 1,000cc 4 cyl 4 stroke turbocharged SNOWMOBILE!!! Hey, they did it with there watercraft and the sled guys are getting nailed even worse with the 2 stroke engines.

 

Tracks huh. Now that is REALLY a utility. Probably just a rumor to make us sport guys suffer even more! On the other hand, that might be the ultimate sand machine?????

The snowmobile thing is probably more likely. Anybody ridden a sled in the sand??

 

There was a pic of it in dirtwheels or 4wheel action (not sure which one) looked pretty cool tho.
