Mr. Moderator,

There are two (2) threads that no longer appear in this forum.
1) Honda 300 4x4 General
2) Honda 450 4x4 General

This is not a "date" issue as I have gone back over 60 days.

Can you please explain what has happened to these threads, as they contained a great deal of information on both models.

I have asked twice via e-mail and have received no response.

Man I hate those post are gone. They had some great refrences on them. All that stuff for the 300 4x4 I brought a customer of mine in last week to show him and the post were gone. Think you guys could do it over?????

I really do hope I am not being IGNORED!

I actually received an e-mail today - that had absolutly NOTHING to do with the question I asked. It was something about not being able to post and they sent me my username and password again.... They really read my e-mail closely.

I think we need to give it one more day and then I'm going to see if I can't get ALL my friends to send them the same e-mail until we get an answer.

I can understand not getting an instant reply, but this is starting to try my patience.

Mr. Moderator. PLEASE RESTORE THOSE TWO THREADS!

Steve, your concern regarding missing topics was not ignored; instead, your post was passed immediately to the ATV Connection management the moment it appeared on the board.

While I hoped to provide you a complete report when our investigation was finished, I'll provide you with information available at this time.

The ATV Connection Staff has been polled; no one has uncovered any evidence regarding the deletion of the topics.

An entire topic is deleted when the topic's initial post is deleted. Either a moderator, or the initiator, may delete the initial post.

We at the ATV Connection do not know at this time how, by whom, or why the topics were deleted. We can only assure you no ATV Connection staff were involved in their deletion.

Our investigation continues; further developments will be reported as they are revealed.

It's good to see your so passionate about your discussions. I have no idea what happened to those threads. Unfortunately, I also do not have the time to dig into it and figure out how to restore them. I'll have to beg your understanding. I can only do so much and I have other things that need attending to first. I'm Sorry....

I kind of doubt it since he put a lot of effort into them. However, since he is a personal friend of mine - I WILL find out.

Something has gone on and I don't know what that is....

The one thing I do know is - I don't like being BS'ed. I do not believe for one second there is NOONE that can take a few minutes out of a WEEK to restore a couple of threads with that kind of useful information. We went through this before when we changed FORMATS and LOST EVERYTHING. I do know someone who (obviously the smart thing to do) printed out the 300 Thread. If I have to type it all in by MYSELF - That thread info is coming BACK!

Just so things are clear for EVERYONE:

Gordon did not remove either of those threads. In fact, he said he has not even been able to log in....

So, I guess that only leaves a few others who have the capability to remove a thread....Hmmmm. It dang sure didn't remove itself.

I really think it would be in the best interest of the one who deleted the thread to find a way to put it back.
