I'm just curious as to why they quit making them. Too "fast" for thier time? I've heard stories of people getting hurt and killed on them, is this why? Thx.

After honda go sued to hell in the mid-eighties, they wanted nothing to do with a high-performance machines, so they focused on making slower boring tractor like utility quads. Soon after all manufacturers followed the lead and dumped their hi-performace atvs except for Yahama, who held the sport quad torch through out the 90s.
