replace or revalve my shocks

my 250r has lsr 2 over arms from the previous owner it appears that he left the works triple rates on the front for standard arms on it and just stiffened the preload all the way up the quad doesnt ride bad but its not the correct rate and damping for the 2 over arms i think it would be cheaper to have them revalved and sprung, but not by a whole lot. if i was to replace them it would be with works triple rates of the same type. what would you do please help i can get the new shocks for 359.99 a pair anyone of any place cheeper

Personally, I would get the new shocks and sell the old ones on e-bay. If you decide to have them redone, check out DeRisi Racing. They redid the factory rear shock on my girlfriends 400ex for a 120 lb rider. It rides like a Caddy now.
