In case anyone is interested, there is a picture of a Honda 600EX and a 250R at www.atvtires.com. Follow the link to the ATV Spy page

Those pics have been on that site for at least a year. Not even nice looking fake pics.

I'm new to this sport so I didn't really notice that much about the pictures. Although there does seem to be a wish for a 600EX

You wouldn't want a "600EX" it would be based on the old XR600 engine, heavy and slow - what a waste... A 650EX based on the newer XR650R would be much more desirable. Even more desirable yet would be a "450EX" based on the new CRF450R engine.

The mags say that the Honda people have been going every nook and cranny of the Cannondale frame, to come up with something for the 450 engine.

I can GUARANTEE that Honda is not going to be making a 600 or 650 EX. I have an inside connection but I can't tell anyone about anything yet. Maybe in a couple of months they will let me tell you guys about it.

k there, ltracerx... sure ya do. anyways, the XR600 sucked. it was slow and the technology dates back to the seventies. they would never bring it back for a crappy quad. the CRF 450F however... that's a damn good powerplant and it could provide some serious motivation.

This is what I was told " I am going to be working with Honda on a new quad Sep. 25th." "Don't tell anyone about it though" I know it doesn't sound like I am telling the truth but oh well. We will see later this year hopefully. I did ask this person if it was a 650EX and he said "no way". Just telling you what I can.
