30-40 mpg. Depending on mods and how you ride.

Yes I agree with the 30 to 40 mph, this is not thumb to the bar type riding but fast paced trail. I have an 01 that is still stock and was surprised at the mileage. I've carried extra gas on some long rides but never had to use it.

Yeah that sounds about right between 30 and 40 miles. It just depends on how hard you ride it and what mods you have done to it. If you ride it really hard, you can go through a tank of gas really fast just like anything else. Especially drag racing. That sucks a lot of gas. I run premium 93 gasoline in mine and it tends to run better than 87 octane. I don't think that it improves actual gas milage, but it does run better on 93 octane.

I don't know millage but I can ride on the dunes, jumping, climbing hills, racing across them, things like that for about 3 1/2 hours.

I know with my former 300EX and the Hondas I have now you can go all day and not have to worry about fuel. When I am about 1 hour from home thats a good feeling. Chet

It is all controlled by yoru right thumb. I ride it in "fun" mode untill I hit reserve, then I stay about a gear high, keeping the rpm down. If you want to be impressed by gas milage, shut off the fuel, and let it idle. It will go for about 5-10 min.
