I was just wondering if anyone knew of a quiet aftermarket silencer for the 250R. Not the turned down tip mod but something that actually works, sound has recently become a big issue, and I want to keep as much performance as possible but be as quiet as I can too. Thanks,

I think about the quietest silencer you're gonna get is the stock one.

Well a good quiet one would be the LRD quiet silencer. It's pricy but it doesnt chop off all your power.

Try contacting Cascade Innovations, they make a silencer called the CFSX that is really quiet. Most people don't understand how Decibles work, so I won't mention the reading, but needless to say, if you're worried about bothering people with the noise of your bike, I applaud you and this silencer shouldn't offend anyone. Good luck.

to add to the Decibles thing a typical push lawn mower is about 100 decibles and the LRD pipe is around 93 so it's SLIGHTLY quieter then a normal lwanmower. Hope that helps you.

I actualy talked to ct raceing, and they told me that
the fmf will be 93 db's or under, and thats good! The cascada one is the best going under 90 db's but you have to take it to a cascada part shop for them to put it on, which sucks!
