Well I just joined the 250r ranks, picked one up 2 days ago but it needs some work. I really wanted to know where is the cheapest place to get oem parts? Thanx in advance for the help.

 

Check out EBay. I have bought several parts off of different people, and I haven't got burned yet.

Also, I have gotten parts from East Coast ATV salvage. They generally charge half price from new for used parts in good conditon. If you are leery of EBAY, you should check them out.

http://www.servicehonda.com has new 250R parts for sale. I am not sure if they are cheaper than your dealer or not. If you buy a lot of parts from your dealer, ask if you can get a discount. You may be surprised to find they will give you a break when you buy several hundred $$$ worth of parts (my local dealer does![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] )

 

servicehonda is very cheap for OEM stuff but I too have bought tons of stuff from e-bay. I just go a factory exhuast absolutly mint for $5 and a skid plate for $5. The exhaust is $420 new.

 

That is something I need too! I will give you $10 j/k. I did go to ebay to try and find a good stock exhaust but nothing good came back on my search. I guess I will keep looking though. Congradulations on the steal.

 

I will sell you the stock pipe off my R if thats what your looking for.
