LRD is tough to beat, just go to any national GNC or GNCC race.As far as price goes it could be a couple hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars.
How much your gonna spend determines how fast your gonna go. Mild or wild?

I met up with the owners of MP racing at Florence. They really know how to build a good engine. I would trust them

Are you building a engine for motocross, woods, drag, or are you just wanting more power? Don't base your choice on simply whoever won the championship last year or whatever. Choose the company that has the most experience in building engines for your application. You will not be happy if you have an engine that's too peaky for trails and no upper power for a motocross track. Be realistic with your builder in what you are using the bike for. You won't be sorry that you did.

Knowsalot is right. Your builder should ask you what type of riding you plan to do. There are many ways to build an angine. It can be different for different riding styles. MP is very good at this. They ask the right questions. They can build a drag bike, MX bike, or trails bike. When I went talked to them I got the feeling they are in the business for the sport, not the money.

I've heard nothing but good things coming from Eddie Sanders Racing. I noticed Dune250R has the TRX5 pipe. How do you like it? I am thinking about sending my motor to ESR for the 265 PowerValve kit to be put on, and have some more port work done. Sounds good!

well I havent had my motor ported or any real machine work done by them, but I did have Tom Miller Motorsports rebuild my engine, and its awesome. They just did some minor things like rechamber the head and raise the compression a bit and rebuild it, but it rips! And its been as reliable as anything.
