I have a 88 250r that I am going to have the frame powder coated this winter and was taking everything off until I got to the swing arm. The pivot bolt I believe has seized to the bearing inside and will not come out. I was just wondering if this has happened to you and what you may have done to get it out. open for any suggestions. I tried a sledge hammer to the end of the bolt and still will not come out. It did however bend the tab on the frame where the bolt goes in not what I wanted to do.
thanx in advance for the help.

good luck i had to cut mine off. try using air hammer. i hear this is the only way to save bolt. all those needle bearings must be jammed in there. when your done removing it get ahold of helm ent. and get some polyurethane bushings for replacement there inexpensive. helm ent. also gives directions how to put grease zerk in. good luck wil.
