PLEASE READ... Stolen 400ex NJ

2000 400EX STOLEN FROM SOMERSET, NJ GARAGE.
Please contact me if anyone sees a 400ex riding around with bent upper and lower control arms (A-Arms) for the front suspension on the left side (looking at it from the front), a DG front bumper, and a sticker that is red, yellow, blue, and reads "SIG" over the front bumper on the plastic above the Honda logo. If the sticker was removed, it may have left some glue residue on the plastic in the shape of the sticker which was round. It is a 2000 model, and I had just gotten it for X-Mas. Also, the right rear rim (looking at it from the front) has a small dent in it.
Please... many of you know what it feels like to lose your quad, and others that are lucky enough to have not, can imagine the feeling of loss and helplessness that comes with it. If you have any info that can help, please let me know.
I am offering a $1000.00 reward to anyone with information that leads to the recovery of my quad. Payable when VIN number has been verified and the quad is back in my possession.
On a related note, does anyone know if there is a way to alert dealers nationwide of the VIN number in case the &@%$! guy that stole it takes it in for service, especially considering the bent A-arms? Thanks for your time and help.

Sorry to here about your lose, my Warrior was also stolen. If your bike was taken from your garage than your home owners insurance will cover it minus the $500.00 deductible and 5% depreciation. Be sure you give your insurance company all of the add on's i.e, air filter, exhaust, tires, ramp, wheels..... I ended up loosing $700.00 of what I originally paid for my toy.
I learn a valuable lesson, I now keep everything chained and locked up including my tool box, I installed 2 eye bolts in my garage floor, this way they can't just pick up or drag my bike out.

As a fellow rider who has had a Quad stollen I
can sympathize with you.My insurance company did
reimburse me for the most of my loss, but how do
you replace a mint 89 250R.In my case I contacted
the dealers in my area and gave them my vin.number
myself. My quad turned up in Indianapolis in a lowes parking lot 5 weeks after it was stollen.
After getting the proper paper work at the Marion
cty.sheriffs department I headed to the police
impound lot only to find out someone stole it
from their lot. How's that for luck!My garage was
locked and We were home at the time.I now cable
the quad to floor and installed an alarm system
to my home and garage. My advice to you is to list
as much equipment with your insurance company as
you can document.Sometimes their is a limit on
extras you can list so be aware. In my case my
quad was 1st located almost 100 miles from my
home in southern Indiana,so your search should be
expanded to cover s pretty large area.
Good Luck.
