i have have two differant dealers say the 2x4 will not be out till next year. but i also had another dealer say honda will make the 4x4 two weeks then the 2x4 two weeks and back again. he said the hurricane in the carolinas slowed production as the rancher is being made in the new south carolina plant. i saw the 4x4 today it looks good but i have yet to see the new color orange. if ay one sees a 2x4 released let me know.

I live in Houston, TX and I saw a couple of Ranchers at my Honda dealer yesterday. The one that I happened to stop and look at was a 4x4. I didn't notice what they other one was. Now if Honda would just hurry up with the Rubicon!! Come on May of 2000.

 

The Honda dealer I talk to just got his Rancher 4x4's in and he told me it would be December sometime before he got his shipment of the 2WD Ranchers in, I can't wait.

PotentOne, that's the same thing I heard. They are supposed to have the 4x4s in the showrooms in November and the 2x4s are coming in December. Maybe the hurricane is the reason they have a recall on the ranchers!?

 

Hey guys, Not to be nit picking, but if we are going to use terminology, we may as well be correct about it. A four wheel drive vehicle is called a 4x4, meaning 4 wheels driven by 4. Hence, a two wheel drive is known as a 4x2, or 4 wheels driven by 2. A 2x4 is a piece of lumber.

I talked to a dealer in Canada, and they are being released to them last week of this month. The dealer I talked to said they were selling many which were going to the US because of the 45% saving on the exchange rate. I got my 350 4x4 electric for $4600.00 US . 2x4 were supposed to be shotly behind the 4x4 machines.
