I have a very close friend, that graduated from college a few years back, and had honda knocking at his door right after. After speaking with him, he said that there is no 650ex, rather they are putting the 450 in the 400ex frame.
Just thought you would like to know what the guy from honda said.

why would honda do that. the 450 puts alot of horse power but the 650 has a little more horse power with more torque.

lol, you 2 are funny. When they came to my door I didnotice a couple of my cookies were half eaten so I turned them away. I dont care personally which engine they use, they would both be awesome.

 

After i got mine in the house ... i noticed they had some sort of whitw powder on them and threw them away.

 

It doesn't matter to me what engine they use. My Dale will be faster either way. They already have it for the Cr and now that dale's got it, Honda will probably follow. I was just jokin about my C-dale being faster, can't judge anything that isn't even out yet. I didn't think the Raptor would go faster than a Banshee and that the Cannondale would go faster than the Raptor, but... I was wrong. Oh no... I hope I'm not wrong about this one. YoDaddy, I have been told by people that they will have an aluminum framed 450EX to compete with the Cannondale. Hows your treatin ya, ever get it running?

 

I have a friend at Honda too. He assures me that Honda is releasing the 650 EX. They are just putting the finishing touches on the MX style drum brakes.

 

I got a friend that is the head mechanic at mikes cycle world (big honda dealer), he says they arent coming out with a d@mn thing that he's heard of.
