2000 ex 400 Sporttrac,good shape but the tires and rims are beat
$3800 firm
If I goto steel rims will lt make a difference in riding weight?

Yeah, that's a pretty good deal. Steel wheels will increase weight, but not enough to notice a huge difference.

Hey if you're concerned about durability then you can always get some .190 aluminum rims with the reinforcement rings (beadlocks). That way it would be light and very durable, though they do cost more than steel. Just a thought.

Steel wheel's won't make much difference at all if you are trail and play riding. Before I got my sur-trak's on .190 rims, i used to take the steel wheel's and surtrac tires of my recon and put them on for when it's muddy, and I can't tell a whole lot of difference between the two. The biggest change is the extra unsprung weight, which will affect how it fly's through the air, and wheelies, but not to a great extent. I'm starting to think that for my next set of trail tires i'd get steel rims if I didn't already have 3 sets of .190 aluminum.
