Honda ATC 90
#1
I have been trying for about 3 years to track down a Honda ATC 90 . . . not to ride but to restore. Don't have the time nor $ to work on a car. This past weekend I found a 1977 model in really good condition and snapped it up. I was hoping to get an earlier model with the "fat" tires, but this one is fine.
Over the next several months I will be restoring the bike to its original condition and will no doubt be visiting here to get tips and probably locate some parts.
I'm really looking forward to this project.
FIRST QUESTION:
1)I know that the fenders are not made out of plastic, is it fibreglass?
2) She will need a paint job, does anyone know the corresponding paint code for the 1977 Honda Red?
3)The stickers are all there, but can you buy new ones from the dealers?
Thanks.

Loyal-cool idea! I have though about doing that as well. I saw one in the paper, one of the ones with the fast tires built into the rim, for $300 a couple months ago. It was tempting... But I figured once it was done nobody would buy it, if it ever got done. It would be hard to find parts.

JRM - I'm not sure if the early 80's ATC90 will work for a 1977. The original ATC90 came out in 1969 - 30 years ago. The 70 is a different animal all together.
QUAD-MAN - I don't plan on selling the 90 when I get it restored, just keep it around and put it on display . . . probably at the Honda dealership.
