well whatever you do, DONT go looking at polaris if your looking for performance quad, but! if your looking for reliability and a decent quad, then maybe polaris, but dont expect to blow away other quads on a track or trails, actually dont plan on jumping anything! Yeah i fuguired polaris wasnt good when i witness my friend race a stck for stock 300ex on his scrambler 500.the scrambler got whooped bad.Oh yeah I wanted the 300ex because where i ride it is necessary.(see my post on cops and atvs dont mix),there isnt enuff time to get off and lift the front and do pushin and all.

if you want the least expensive, most reliable sport quad out there.... there is NO question, the 400Ex is it.... and for just another $100 bucks, and a couple of hours time, you can improve it's performance noticably
see my thread "the fisrt $100 you should spend on a 400EX"

400EX VS 300EX, that's a no brainer 400EX! It's faster, handles better, bigger, jumps better, ect ect. A big bore will make it unreliable and you will need to do a lot more maintenance to it. Reverse is very easy to ride without, especially on a sport quad! All you do is turn the bars and pin the throttle and there you go, your turned around before anyone else! If you think the reverse is going to get you out of mud or anything like that your wrong. They just sit there and slowly spin (thanks to Hondas great rev limiter) You can't get any speed or power out of it! It wont get out of much, not worth it. If there's enough room to use reverse to turn around in then you can whip it around.
