We're pretty much riding every weekend if you're interested. Are you going to build an aftermarket 250r engine from scratch or try to find a used one out of a three wheeler or wrecked quad? I actually know of a 250r three wheeler but third gear is shot in it and replacing it would probably be pretty costly but if you want me to find out about it let me know. It's right down the street from me in Henrietta.

 

Not really sure yet. If I could find a good deal on a motor that needed some work I would look into it, as long as the cases weren't damaged at all. If you don't mind, see what they are asking for it and what work it needs. Thanks.

 

The motor is in a 250r three wheeler that runs and is rideable. I know it's missing 3rd gear but other than that I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I'm sure he'll want to sell the whole three wheeler but I don't think he'll want a lot for it. It has a durablue +4 axle and all new plastic if you couldn't use any of it you could probably sell the axle and the parts and get some of your money back. I'll talk to someone about it today but since it's a friend of a friend it might take me a few days to get an answer for you.
